Jarnell Stokes Injury Update

Don’t be alarmed, but Stokes did not play against South Carolina last night due to a sprained hand injury suffered in practice.

Stokes play was a game time decision, and Cuonzo Martin called his status “day to day,” but chose to sit the standout freshman from last night’s win over South Carolina.

The Vols next contest will be Saturday when they travel to Gainesville to play the No. 8 ranked Florida Gators. Florida has yet to lose at home, but Tennessee did beat the Gators earlier in the season 67-56 in Knoxville. Stokes will likely be in the line up on Saturday.
