The Lady Vols handled SEC rival Mississippi State easily Thursday night at Thompson-Boling arena. Tennessee jumped out to an early lead in the first half and never looked back. Kamiko Williams started her first game of the season, scoring 10 points and securing 13 rebounds. Meighan Simmons led the Vols in scoring with 21 points.
The Lady Vols have now won 10 of their last 11. They improve to 8-0 in conference play and 17-4 on the season. Tennessee will head to Missouri on Sunday for the first time since Missouri joined the SEC. The Lady Vols blew out the Tigers 84-39 when they met in Knoxville earlier this month. Missouri is coming off of a 69-64 win at home over Florida.
