Projected as wide receiver, Johnson has had success at the quarterback position during his high school as well. He has a wide receiver build and is very quick. Johnson should excel in Butch Jones’ uptempo offense. He was recruited at Auburn by Willie Martinez, when Martinez made the jump to Tennessee he continued recruiting Johnson and he committed shortly thereafter. Johnson is currently enrolled at Tennessee. He held notable offers from Auburn, Boston College and Duke.
