Brown rounds out a surprisingly strong defensive end class for the Vols. Brown had committed to Syracuse in December. Butch Jones had offered Brown when he was head coach at Cincinnati and continued recruiting him at Tennessee. Brown is an athletic prospect that is still raw in some areas.  He can play on both sides of the ball but projects best as a defensive end.  He’s got the length and size to be a disruptive pass rusher and will add depth to the Vols’ defensive line.
