One of the top 2014 quarterback recruits in the nation, Tyler Harris, has been getting a lot of love from Volunteer fans on Twitter recently.

Vol nation isn’t alone in their love for Harris. Fans of other SEC schools, such as Alabama and South Carolina, have shown their love for one of the top quarterbacks in the 2014 class as well.

Tyler Harris is a four-star quarterback recruit from Blackshear, GA (Pierce). Harris, 6’3″/205 lbs, is a pro-style quarterback that 247Sports rates as the 5th best player in the state of Georgia. 247Sports also rates Harris as the 5th overall pro-style quarterback in the nation.

On Monday we caught up with Harris to ask him about how his recruitment has went so far.

We asked Harris what he thought about the attention he’s received from Tennessee fans:

"I am really feeling the love, I haven’t visited yet but I plan to this summer."

We also asked Harris if the quarterback depth at Tennessee would affect his decision at all:

"It doesn’t scare me because I’m not afraid to compete, but I would like to go up and see how they run the program and get to know the coaches better."

Despite not yet visiting Tennessee, Harris told us that the Vols were “pretty high up” on his list.

Harris hasn’t yet picked up an official offer from the Volunteers, but he has picked up offers from rival SEC schools Alabama and Mississippi State.
