Everyone knows twitter is the place for anyone and everyone to talk with recruits. Twitter has became quite the place for recruits to share news about their visits, interest levels, and where the they are committing.

In fact I suggest to check your twitter often from 8:00-11:00 AM. There may be some good news for the Vols.

Late Tuesday afternoon I caught up with 2014 recruit Reggie Long a Linebacker from White House, Texas. Reggie stands 6’1″ and weighs 215 pounds. His Junior year he had 80 solo and 42 assisted tackles, 12 QB hurries, 3 interceptions, 8 sacks, 6 forced fumbles and 3 fumble recoveries.

Reggie Long told me if Tennessee offered he would commit to the Vols. I talked to Long and asked him a few questions and here’s what he had to say.

Jonah: Whats your interest level in Tennessee?

Long: My interest level on a scale of 1-10 in Tennessee is a 10. I’m just as excited and interested in a school, especially a school who is taking the time to talk to me.

Jonah: What schools have you talked with?

Long: Receiving interest from: Texas, Texas Tech, Houston, Louisiana Tech, Mississippi State, Georgia, Yale, Princeton, Penn, Dartmouth, Incarnate Word, Alabama, Michigan State, Vanderbilt, Michigan, Arkansas, Arkansas State, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Washington State, Tulsa, Florida State, Florida, Louisiana Tech, and others.

Jonah: Do you have a favorite conference?

Long: No, I dont have a favorite conference, I just want to go D1 and ball!!

Jonah: What schools have showed the most attention?

Long: Schools showing the most attention are Tulsa, Texas, Texas Tech, Mississippi State and Miami

Jonah: Do you plan to visit any schools soon?

Long: Yes I plan on attending some schools whoever show me the most attention before school ends.

Jonah: Do you have a favorite Linebacker in the NCAA or a player you look up to?

Long: I dont really have a favorite LB. My favorite player I look up to is Tyrann Mathieu aka Honey Badger, even though he wasn’t that good off the field, he’s just like me, under the radar, and he’s a big inspiration.

Jonah: In your opinion, which coach is recruits most excited about?

Long: Recruits are very excited about Coach Saban, Dan Mullen, And Coach Brown.

Jonah: What is it you like most about Tennessee?

Long: I like the tradition of Tennessee! Winning is a big thing for me, and UT does that alot!!

Jonah: Do you plan on attending any camps

Long: I plan on attending a few colleges and camps this summer, not to much, I have SATs to take and senior year classes. Education is number one.

Jonah: Have any schools asked you to take part in their camp?

Long: Every school has told me to come to camp! I’m a good player and wish coaches would offer me for my grades and film!
