Vols Basketball: Battle For Atlantis Matchups Announced

Yes I already know, you don’t have to say it.
With college football practice beginning this weekend, it’s officially football season.
But it won’t be long and college basketball season will be upon us and Thompson-Boling Arena will be rocking once again.
To get you somewhat prepared for basketball season, the matchups for the “Battle of Atlantis” were announced today.
The Vols will face off against UTEP in their opening game of the tournament, on Thanksgiving day at 9:30 pm est on NBC Sports Network.
Should the Vols win, they would take on the winner of Iowa and Xavier the following day.
The Battle for Atlantis takes place at Atlantis Resorts on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. The grand ballroom of the resort is converted to a basketball court for the tournament, creating quite a unique feel for a basketball game.
