The Vols picked up their 25th commit to the 2014 Tennessee Volunteers recruiting class when Emmanuel Mosley committed on Tuesday night.

Mosley is a 6’1″/180 lb cornerback/wide receiver from Greensboro, NC (Dudley).

247Sports rates Mosley as a two-star recruit and the 67th overall player in the state of North Carolina. According to 247Sports he runs the 40-yard dash in 4.35 seconds.

Mosley had previously committed to UNC-Charlotte, which is in it’s first year of even having a football program. Mosley also holds offers from East Carolina and North Carolina A&T.

I wouldn’t let Mosley’s low-star rating, or lack of major offers, worry you if you’re a Vol fan. Butch Jones and his staff do an excellent job of scouting and unearthing “gems”. Chris Weatherd, as you might remember, was rated low, with no major offers, when he committed to Tennessee. Now he’s a four-star linebacker that recently picked up an offer from Texas A&M.
