Jalen Hurd, the Vols’ top 2014 commit, has officially been admitted to Tennessee for the spring semester.

Getting on campus as an early enrollee is absolutely huge for any recruit.

For one, it eliminates the stress and last minute decisions that national signing day brings.

More importantly, it gives recruits the opportunity of going through spring practice, putting them way ahead of incoming freshmen that won’t be able to actually practice until August.

There’s no doubt that Jalen Hurd, a five-star running back from Hendersonville, TN (Beech), is All-Vol.

Hurd is currently recovering from a torn labrum that he suffered in Beech’s first game of the season. The injury caused Hurd to miss the rest of his senior season.

He’s expected to be healthy by this upcoming Spring.
