ESPN hates Tennessee.

That’s the common belief among Vol fans.

Perhaps the Vols just needed to give ESPN a reason to believe, like they did against South Carolina on Saturday.

ESPN might just be coming around, as Kirk Herbstreit put #1 on Alabama on upset alert this Saturday.

Alabama’s looked like their typical dominant selves this season, even though they’ve struggled in some aspects of the game at times.

The Crimson Tide’s offense looked less than stellar against Virginia Tech and Ole Miss, while their defense struggled mightily against Texas A&M.

Of course against Arkansas and Kentucky, the Crimson Tide looked as good as team possibly could.

It’ll definitely be a tall task for the Vols to go into Tuscaloosa and knock off Alabama, but there’s certainly more belief in the Vols following their upset win against South Carolina.

Saban will have his team prepared as always. There won’t be any “looking past Tennessee” going on in Alabama this week.
