Josh Dobbs Is A Legitimate SEC QB

You couldn’t ask for much more from a guy in his first career start. Especially when that guy is a true freshman starting on the road against a top ten team.

Josh Dobbs looked like he’d been under center all season for the Vols. He was well prepared and he showed that he has the ability to be a playmaker for the Volunteers. That’s something they lacked previously in Justin Worley.

Had Dobbs’ receivers made some plays in the first half, the outcome (or at least final score) probably would’ve been different.

The Volunteers future with Dobbs is bright. The experience he gained against Alabama and Missouri is immeasurable.

As long as Dobbs makes positive strides this week in practice and works on fixing his mistakes, he should be even better against Auburn next Saturday.
