The Tennessee Volunteers (0-0) will kick-off their 2013/14 season tonight against the Xavier Musketeers (1-0, 0-0) in Cincinnati, OH.
The Vols have lofty expectations on them this season, with the bulk of their team returning.
In addition to Jordan McRae and Jarnell Stokes passing up the NBA for another season at Tennessee, the Vols have Jeronne Maymon coming back from injury.
The Vols will also have help from a couple of newcomers this season, freshman guard Robert Hubbs and senior transfer Antonio Barton (Memphis) are expected to have major roles for the Volunteers this season.
Tennessee’s opponent tonight, Xavier, won their season opener on Friday against Gardner Webb by a score of 83-59.
