1. Alabama (9-0 AP #1 USA Today #1) 

Alabama is currently playing as well as they have all season.

When the season got underway there were some whispers that the Crimson Tide weren’t the behemoth they have been in recent years.

Boy were those whispers wrong.

Alabama is coming off a convincing win over #13 LSU this past weekend.

Auburn is the only team left on the schedule that poses a threat to Alabama’s undefeated regular season. It’s unlikely that Bama will lose to Auburn or whoever the SEC east has to offer in the SEC Championship game.

Alabama is the class of not only the SEC, but college football in general.

For what it’s worth, I don’t think that’s changing any time soon.
