The Tennessee Volunteers opened their season against Xavier on Tuesday night.
The Vols (0-1) struggled offensively early and had it not been for Jordan McRae the game would’ve been even uglier.
Tennessee will try to rebound against South Carolina Upstate in their home opener at Thompson Boling arena.
The Spartans (1-1) knocked off Virginia Tech in their opener, but dropped their next game against Winthrop.
The Vols should easily be able to get their first win of the season against South Carolina Upstate.
