Mychal Rivera Suffers Concussion After Hard Hit (GIF)

Every week there’s a hit in the NFL that looks like it could end a career.
Unfortunately for former Tennessee Volunteers tight end Mychal Rivera, he was the recipient of one of those hits on Sunday.
Rivera, along with Titans DB Michael Griffin, who delivered the hit, both suffered concussions as a result of the hit.
The Oakland Raiders tight end had one catch for 10 yards on the day. Rivera had been developing a nice chemistry with Raiders QB Matt McGloin.
It’s unclear how much time Rivera will miss.
