Mychal Rivera, who took a vicious hit from Michael Griffen on Sunday, said he expects to play on Thanksgiving, just four days after suffering a concussion.

On Monday the league suspended Griffen for the hit. He’s appealing the suspension.

Rivera looked like he had been developing a repertoire with new raiders QB Matt McGloin.

The former Vol had six catches for 54 yards in McGloin’s first start a week ago. He has 24 catches for 260 yards and two touchdowns on the season.

The Raiders play the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day at 4:15 PM ET. The game can be seen on CBS.
