Butch Jones has preached one constant since day one — Family.

Jones is all about family and he’s created a family atmosphere on Rocky Top that we haven’t seen in recent years.

It’s not just a gimmick either, this is who Jones really is.

As the 2014 season winds down, Jones knows that his time with his family is coming to an end.

"Jones: We get one more chance to come together as a football family, you know, as a football team and it’s the last time we’ll play."

On Monday, Jones said that his team would do things a little different this week than what they typically do during a game week.

"Jones: We’ll do some different things Thursday with it being the seniors’ last practice. So, we’ll do a couple things there within the traditions of Tennessee football, things that have gone on for a very long period of time here. That’s something that we value, our traditions, and we’ll continue to do that. We’ll eat Thanksgiving Day dinner Wednesday night as a football family."

It’s been a tough first season for Butch Jones at Tennessee, but that’s something we knew would happen, especially considering the lack of depth and talent this team has.

However, with that being said, team 117 will always be a special team in Tennessee football history.

Years from now, Vol fans will be able to look at this team as the beginning of something special.

Team 117 brought pack a sense of pride and family to Tennessee.

And for that, everyone should be grateful to Butch Jones for coming to Tennessee.
