You can now make that 34 commits to the 2014 Vols recruiting class.

That’s because four-star defensive tackle Charles Mosley made it official and committed to Tennessee on Monday afternoon.

Mosley is (literally) a huge get for the Vols. At 6’5″/350 lbs he’ll be able to fill the roll of run-stuffer for John Jacnek’s defensive unit.

It’s not a surprise at all that the Vols landed a commitment from the Brighton, TN (Brighton) native. Tennessee has long been considered the front-runner and all 29 of the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions had Mosley committing to the Volunteers.

Mosley’s commitment is another example of how the Vols have executed their desire to own the state of Tennessee.

In addition to Mosley they now have commitments from the following top in-state players: Jalen Hurd, Josh Malone, Todd Kelly JR, Derek Barnett, RaShaan Gaulden, Vic Wharton and Aaron Medley.

Mosley committed to the Vols over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss and Georgia, among several others.

It’s unclear how Butch Jones will make all these players fit, but he has a plan and is adamant that it will work out one way or another.
