Junior College players who plan to enroll early will be signing their national letters of intent today.

The Vols are planning to sign four players today, but that number could end up being three, depending on what four-star defensive end DaVonte Lambert decides.

Lambert, the top rated JuCo strong-side defensive end in the nation, committed to Tennessee in August, but a late push by the Auburn Tigers has him questioning his commitment.

He’s scheduled to make a final decision today around 3:00 pm ET when he signs his national letter of intent.

Mike Farrell, the national recruiting director for Rivals, thinks Lambert will stick with the Vols.

That’s reassuring for Vol fans, but as we all know, recruiting is a fluid business.

As for the other players the Vols are planning to sign?

  • Lavon Pearson — WR — Four-Star
  • Dontavius Blair — OT — Four-Star
  • Owen Williams — DT — Three-Star
