Peyton Manning threw his 48th touchdown pass of the season on Sunday, with a 36-yard strike to Demaryius Thomas.
Manning is now one-touchdown shy of tying his career high of 49, set in 2004. He’s also two away from tying Tom Brady’s single-season record of 50, set in 2007.
The touchdown throw extended Manning’s streak of games with a touchdown pass to 38, which is the longest active streak in the NFL.
