If you were among those that thought Cordarrelle Patterson would have a major impact in his rookie season, then you were right.

Patterson proved this season to be one of the most explosive players in the league. That’s pretty incredible when you consider that he only played one season of FBS football.

The former Vol really lit it up during the final month of the season, scoring three rushing and three receiving touchdowns. Those numbers were good enough for Patterson to be named the NFL’s offensive rookie of the month for December.

The Minnesota Vikings fired their head coach after the season, so whoever comes to town will have quite the weapon to experiment with in Cordarrelle Patterson.

Patterson finished the season as the league’s leading kick-returner, averaging 32.4 yards per return.
