Vols Make 5-Star DB's Top 6

And with that the Tennessee Volunteers find themselves in Adoree’ Jackson’s top six.

Jackson eliminated Oregon and Florida State with his top six announcement.

It’s still most likely that either USC or Florida will landed the coveted five-star defensive back, but the fact that Tennessee is still in the mix is huge for the Vols. As I’ve said many many times before, don’t ever count a school out when it comes to recruiting. Nothing is final until the papers are signed on the first Wednesday in February.

Jackson is rated as the top player in the state of California and the number two cornerback in the nation.

Vol commit Jalen Hurd let it be known last week that Jackson was wanted on Rocky Top.

Wanted might be an understatement. Just check out Jackson’s highlights and you’ll see why we say that.
