The 2013-14 basketball season for the Tennessee Volunteers may have started out slowly and led to major backlash from fans, but it ended with a successful run through the NCAA Tournament that possibly could’ve lasted even longer if not for a controversial foul call in the Sweet Sixteen.
All opinions on the Michigan game aside, this past season for the Vols ended up how many predicted in the first place, which was with the team reaching the Sweet Sixteen. They finished one win shy of the team’s 4th 25-win season, and they were mere seconds and a handful of points away from their 2nd Elite Eight appearance in school history.
A big question facing this team now is whether or not they can have similar success next season. This offseason for the Vols offers plenty of opportunity for change, some for the better and some possibly for the worse. Here are three things to watch for this basketball offseason.
