Okay, in all seriousness it looks like Cuonzo Martin has removed his name from the Marquette coaching search, according to a CBS Sports report.

"Tennessee’s Cuonzo Martin has removed himself from consideration at Marquette and is now expected to remain head coach of the Vols, a source told CBSSports.com on Monday."

With the news that Martin has removed his name from consideration, I’d expect to hear an announcement soon from Tennessee saying that Martin has received a raise/extension.

It’s likely that Martin never had any serious interest in the Marquette job and was only angling for a raise/extension. If that’s the case, you certainly can’t blame the man. Especially after all he went through with the fans/supporters this season.

According to the report, Marquette is now targeting Duke assistant Steve Wojciechowski.
