The second full spring under head coach Butch Jones was a productive one, and all the spring practices, scrimmages, and the Orange and White game went a long way in building what will be Team 118 for the Vols this season.

This spring brought with it 14 newcomers, all providing an injection of talent into a team that was desperate for playmakers last season. Almost every position was up for grabs in the spring session, and the position battles brought along more than a few surprises.
