Christian Owens (Georgia Commit) Offered By Vols

The Tennessee Volunteers offered four-star wide receiver Christian Owens on Thursday.

Owens is a 6’5″/205 lb wide receiver from Griffin, GA (Griffin). 247Sports rates him 41st best wide receiver in the nation.

He committed to Georgia on April 6.

Christian Owens Highlights

Owens is the type of receiver that Tennessee fans have grown accustomed to seeing on Rocky Top. He’s tall, fast and has good hands.

It’ll be tough for Butch Jones and the Vol staff to flip Owens to UT from in-state Georgia.

If the Vols are somehow able to flip Owens, it would almost be an embarrassment of riches for Tennessee, considering the stockpile of wide receivers they already have.

Then again, I don’t think Vol fans would have a problem with that.
