The Volunteers coaching staff has spent quite a bit of time in North Carolina over the past week.

Last week Tennessee offered 2016 wide receiver Divine Deablo from Winston-Salem, NC (Mount Tabor).

On Monday, UT offered 2015 defensive end Kengera Daniel from Raleigh, NC (Millbrook)

Daniel, 6’6″/245 lbs, is rated as a three-star defensive end in 247Sports’ composite rankings. Those same rankings have Daniel as the 16th best player in the state of North Carolina and the 19th overall weakside defensive end in the nation.

The North Carolina native isn’t particularly fast. If he bulks up he might be better suited as an athletic defensive tackle.

Here’s another clip of Daniel, working with former Vols defensive coordinator Sal Sunseri.

So far Daniel has offers from Alabama, East Carolina, Miami and Wake Forest, as well as several others.
