Vols Recruiting: Tennessee Commit Offered By Cincinnati
By Zach Ragan
2015 four-star athlete Jauan Jennings was offered by the Cincinnati Bearcats on Thursday.
Jennings, a native of Murfreesboro, TN (Blackman), committed to Tennessee on April 7. The 6’4″/186 lb recruit projects as either a dual-threat quarterback or safety.
Most folks believe he’ll end up on the defensive side of the ball, but he will be given a shot at quarterback.
The Vols still don’t have a definite long-term answer at the position.

Four-star pro-style quarterback Quinten Dormady is expected by most to be the future of the position for Tennessee, but there’s really no way to know how effective a player will be until they join the team.
As far as Jennings goes, he’s not going anywhere. He’s a firm Tennessee commit and regardless of whether he ends up at quarterback or safety, he’s a player that will be very important for the Vols in 2015 and beyond.
Jennings has also received offers from Alabama, Auburn, Nebraska, Ohio State and Penn State, among several others.
