To get Vol fans geared up for the 2014 season (which is less than three weeks away now), we thought it would be a good idea to recap the top single-game performances from the previous season. While the 2013 season may not have been satisfying as a whole, some individuals performed exceptionally in certain games throughout the season.

Even though the Vols failed to make a bowl game and suffered a 5-7 season for the third straight season, individuals still had games worth celebrating. One player even had a historic game that surpassed a UT legend.

Hopefully 2014 brings more highlights and a better end result, but a look back at last season is a good way to build the ante for this year’s season opener. Here’s a look at the 2013 season’s top single-game performances for the Vols.
