Vols Offer 2017 Linebacker

The Tennessee Volunteers offered 2017 linebacker Hendersonville, TN (Beech) native Jacob Phillips on Thursday evening.

Phillips, who is a sophomore in high school, already possesses tremendous size at 6’3″/215 lbs. There’s a good chance that he develops into a defensive end by the time 2017 gets here.

Ole Miss was the first team to offer Phillips, offering him shortly before Tennessee did on Thursday evening.

The Vols will obviously be heavily favored in Phillips’ recruitment. Tennessee has been recruiting the area extremely well and has made winning the state of Tennessee their top priority in recruiting.
