Florida Gators QB Jeff Driskel Comments On Loudness Of Neyland Stadium

The debate over the loudest stadium in college football is one that has a different answer depending on which part of the country you’re visiting.

Some folks seem to think LSU’s “Death Valley” is at the top of the list, while Alabama’s “Bryant-Denny” tops the list for others.

But for Florida Gators quarterback Jeff Driskel, there’s no debate — it’s Neyland Stadium.

Driskel was the Gators’ starting quarterback in 2012 when the Gators knocked off the Derek Dooley led Vols in Neyland Stadium.

There’s no doubt that was one of the louder games in recent memory for the Vols. The entire stadium was shaking in the first half.

With this Saturday’s game at Neyland sold out, it should be another rocking environment when the Gators come to town (even with the noon kickoff, this is Florida we’re talking about).

And for the record, ESPN seemed to agree with Driskel’s sentiment (at least during the Vols’ game against Georgia at Neyland last season).
