Vols In Four-Star Running Back’s Top Six

2016 four-star running back Antonio Williams announced his top six schools on Tuesday and the Tennessee Vols made the cut.

Williams, 5’10″/210 lbs, is from New London, NC (North Stanley). That’s an area that’s become somewhat of a recruiting hotbed for the Volunteers.

247Sports rates Williams as the fourth best 2016 player in the state of North Carolina and the tenth best 2016 running back in the nation.

Williams’ list, unlike many of the lists released by recruits, is in order. The Vols are the fifth team on the list.

Wisconsin is Williams’ current leader, but he admitted it could all change.

Williams seems like a very solid prospect. Even though the Vols are a little ways down his list, they still have plenty of time to make up some ground.
