Last week: Lost to Kentucky, 17-7
Vanderbilt has all but guaranteed a losing season in 2014 and it’s not even October yet!
I think Vanderbilt will get better (they have to….right?), but it’s still going to be a long, long season in Nasvhille.
Derek Mason proved at Stanford that’s he a quality defensive mind, but he might be in over his head. The SEC is a different animal and Mason is slowly learning that.
It’s obviously too early to cast a verdict on Mason, but he’s certainly got a lot of work to do if he’s going to convince the Vandy brass that he deserves a long term investment.
