Vols Recruiting: Micah Abernathy Commits To Tennessee

The Tennessee Vols continued their hot recruiting streak on Friday by securing a commitment from 2015 four-star cornerback Micah Abernathy.
Abernathy, 6’1″/187 lbs, is from Norcross, GA (Greater Atlanta Christian School). He’s rated by 247Sports as the 19th best player in the state of Georgia and the 22nd best cornerback in the nation.
The Vols’ latest commit also had offers from Alabama, Duke, Georgia, Louisville, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State and South Carolina, among others.
Anytime the Vols can go into the state of Georgia and get a commitment, it’s a big deal. Abernathy is a guy that can make a difference in the Vols’ secondary.
Butch Jones hasn’t slowed down in recruiting since he arrived on Rocky Top. It’s hard to imagine that he’ll slow down anytime soon.
