Former Vols WR Justin Hunter Putting In Work In Off-Season

No one knows whether or not 2015 will be Justin Hunter’s breakout season.

But if it isn’t, it won’t be for lack of trying.

The 2013 second round draft pick of the Tennessee Titans is spending the off-season trying to improve on his lackluster first two NFL seasons.

Check out the videos that Hunter posted on his Instagram account.

Over his first two seasons in the NFL, Hunter has caught 46 passes for 852 yards and seven touchdowns.

Modest numbers, yes, but a far cry from the stats he was expected to put up.

The former Vol has shown flashes of how great he can be, but he’s also disappeared at times.

Some of that is due to the uncertainty the Titans have dealt with at the quarterback position. But some of Hunter’s struggles exist because of holes in his game.

Hunter still struggles with drops at times and his frame still isn’t where it needs to be in order to be successful in a league that’s known for its physicality (thought that’s something he’s obviously working on).

If Hunter doesn’t make a big impact in his third season in the NFL, the Titans might start looking elsewhere.

You only get so many chances in the NFL. Justin Hunter needs to make the most of his in 2015.
