After the Saturday spring game, Tennessee football quarterback Joshua Dobbs tracked down a young Volunteers who was upset about not meeting him.

Joshua Dobbs may be the nicest athlete in all of sports.

The senior Vols quarterback went out of his way after Saturday’s Orange and White game to find a young Tennessee fan upset about not seeing him.

It all started after a video was posted on Twitter of a kid crying that he didn’t get to meet Dobbs.

After seeing that, Dobbs tweeted back an apology.

And thanks to social media no doubt, he was able to find the youngster a little later.

Honestly, Dobbs’s tweet of a shoutout to the fan would have been enough. The fact that he made an effort to go find the fan speaks to the type of person he is.

We all knew Dobbs to be a great guy, and he is an amazing ambassador for Tennessee football. To people who have followed his career the past three years, this is not that surprising.

Dobbs is a clear leader, he is a very good quarterback, and he is a brilliant college student. He is honestly the total package of everything you want in an athlete.

All that’s left is getting Tennessee over the hump to reach the SEC Championship and finally win it.
