The Tennessee Volunteers are one of three unbeaten Southeastern Conference teams after week four of the college football season. Here are the SEC Standings.

Well that was a crazy weekend of college football. The Tennessee Vols are 1-0 in the SEC Standings for the first time since 2004, and fans across Knoxville are psyched about this fast start they have had to the season.

With one game in the brutal four-game stretch under their belt, they are set to continue their tough schedule this week against the Georgia Bulldogs.

It has been a long time since Tennessee football was considered among the top teams in the conference.

But the Vols are one of only three undefeated teams left in it. And they are in control of the SEC East.

Here are the updated SEC Standings following the fourth week of the college football season.

SEC East

  1. Tennessee: 1-0, 4-0
  2. Florida: 1-1, 3-1
  3. Georgia: 1-1, 3-1
  4. Kentucky: 1-1, 2-2
  5. South Carolina: 1-2, 2-2
  6. Missouri: 0-1, 2-2
  7. Vanderbilt: 0-1, 2-2

SEC West

  1. Texas A&M: 2-0, 4-0
  2. Alabama: 1-0, 4-0
  3. Auburn: 1-1, 2-2
  4. LSU: 1-1, 2-2
  5. Mississippi State: 1-1, 2-2
  6. Ole Miss: 1-1, 2-2
  7. Arkansas: 0-1, 3-1

Of course, these SEC standings will once again change this week. Now conference play is really underway. This weekend, there are once again five SEC games that will be on display. Can the Vols maintain their status atop the SEC East?

They’ll have a tough test to prove that Saturday against the Georgia Bulldogs on the road.
