ESPN will air former Tennessee football quarterback Joshua Dobbs at Jon Gruden’s camp in April. Here is a preview of the UT Vols graduate there.

Joshua Dobbs is one of numerous Tennessee football players likely to go in this year’s NFL Draft. And it’s certainly better than it has been in previous years for the Volunteers.

On Thursday, the quarterback went to Orlando, Fla. for Jon Gruden’s QB camp. According to UTSports, the episode of Dobbs at the camp will air on Sunday, April 16 at 6:30 p.m. E.T.

Here is a preview of the camp that the official Tennessee football website posted on Twitter Friday.

Dobbs is among seven quarterbacks who will work with Gruden at this year’s camp. One of the other quarterbacks is Nathan Peterman, who transferred out of Tennessee after Dobbs got the starting job over him in place of Justin Worley in 2014.

Obviously, Gruden’s a bit late to the party considering the fact that Tennessee football fans have been impressed by Dobbs’s ability to balance academics and football for years.

In fact, it actually hurt him to a degree. After all, Dobbs had to deal with a final exam the week of the South Carolina Gamecocks game last year.

And that was his worst performance of the season.

Luckily for him, there are no more final exams. It’s all football.

So his intelligence with no distractions is probably a huge selling point to NFL Draft scouts too when you consider his athletic ability.

His intangibles are also a huge plus. Tennessee football fans everywhere knew him to be a great leader, so that’s another factor working in his favor.

Add in his impressive Senior Bowl performance and his NFL Combine, and he’s done a lot to help himself for the NFL Draft.

Work with Gruden could only help him more.
