The Tennessee basketball team is looking for their first Final Four in school history. Here are five reasons why you can move them along in your bracket.

Tennessee is a football school; I get it. And, I’m not going to persuade anyone that the next couple of weeks are the best of the entire year. Nothing is going to beat Florida or Alabama week in football, right?

Well, you’d be wrong, especially now that Tennessee basketball is a national powerhouse and is build to stay relevant for a while. As a No.2 seed in the South Region, the Vols have a fantastic opportunity to make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament, maybe even a Final Four?

Tennessee did go 6-4 down the stretch of the final ten games of the season. Since 1980 only three National Champions finished their season with a 6-4 record or worse.

2011 UConn: 6-4 (3 Seed)

1997 Arizona: 6-4 (4 Seed)

1985 Villanova: 5-5 (8 Seed)

It’s like this team to be on the wrong side of history and prove all the doubters wrong. In this post, we are going to give you five reasons why Tennessee should be a Final Four team in your bracket. Once you make it that far anything can happen.
