4. The Vols Will Have at Least One Freshman All-American
Who this will be, we cannot say. There is too much raw talent on this Tennessee roster, particularly with this incoming recruiting class, to know exactly which players will shine the most, especially when some are at very deep positions.

But once again Butch Jones plans to use a lot of freshman on his team this year, and that will lend plenty of opportunities for a freshman All-American.
If we were to rank the most likely candidates, based on Fall Camp Jauan Jennings is all of a sudden No. 1 on the list. The former quarterback who converted to receiver in August landed himself a spot as a starting receiver according to the first Tennessee depth chart, and he has barely been practicing at the position. In an offense loaded with weapons, if he shines, then watch out!
After that, we move to the trenches. Drew Richmond is a superstar offensive tackle who was recruited out of Memphis and will definitely see some time in the rotation on the line. Could it be enough for national recognition? Perhaps, as he might get settled into the role.
On the defensive side of the trenches, this is where we have tons of candidates in a very deep rotation. Kahlil McKenzie is the most notable name, as he was a five-star defensive tackle who has already wowed coaches in practice. Shy Tuttle is not far behind, and Kyle Phillips is making the most headlines at defensive end.
Can one of those players work their way into a regular rotation? Possibly.
Among all of these players, at least one will be a freshman All-American by the end of the year.
