Tennessee football will once again try to end its losing streak to UF Saturday. Here are the five biggest concerns for the Volunteers against the Gators.

Everybody affiliated with Tennessee football is beyond jittery about this weekend. The Vols have that 11-game losing streak hanging over their heads to the Florida Gators, and once again they have a chance to end it.

In the minds of many, this is Tennessee’s best chance from a football perspective to win the game. But not so fast!

Football evidence favored the Vols much more going into this game each of the past three years than it has this year.

Heck, the recent developments of both teams has Vols fans everywhere concerned about this game.

There are just too many signs that point to Florida winning its 12th straight game, which would of course be devastating.

If Tennessee loses, it could derail the season. If Tennessee wins, the Vols have a ton of momentum with the first of their brutal four game stretch behind them.

So no matter how much Butch Jones wants to downplay it, this game is a huge deal. Donald Trump himself could not oversell how YUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEE of a game this is.

Everything is riding on this game, and it’s not just because of the 11-game losing streak. Yes, that’s a major part of it. But, as always, it will play a major role in determining the SEC East division winner.

It also will determine if the Vols are the whipping boys of Florida trash talk or if they can shut up all the talk from Jalen Tabor to Quincy Wilson to Jarrad Davis to Pat Dooley to Jim McElwain himself.

Oh, and this year, it just might even have College Football Playoff implications. So yes, this game is huge, and it has Vols fans nervous.

Let’s make everybody a little more nervous. Here are the five biggest concerns for Tennessee football as they get set to face the Gators on Saturday.
