  • Over/Under: 59.5
  • Moneyline: Texas A&M -340; Missouri +280

It’s a battle of old Big 12 foes. One is looking for its first big win to reset the clock and bring back some of that preseason hype. Another just pulled that off and is riding a huge wave of momentum heading into this matchup at Faurot Field.

Texas A&M was left for dead, and then Jimbo Fisher pulled off the shocker of the year against the Alabama Crimson Tide, becoming the first former Nick Saban assistant to ever beat Saban. Now his team is back on the road and in the top 25 at No. 21 in the AP Poll and No. 18 in the Coaches Poll. Can they avoid a letdown?

On the other side, the Missouri Tigers have to find a way to bring about a big win. After losing 62-24 to Tennessee football, they barely put away the North Texas Mean Green. Eliah Drinkwitz is not having the second-year splash many expected, but pulling off an upset here could bring back the high morale this team needs.

Prediction

Anybody who has watched this Mizzou team knows they can’t stop the run to save their lives. A&M didn’t run it well against Alabama, but they stayed committed to that ground attack. Fisher will do it again here. Expect Isaiah Spiller and Devon Achane to gain over 200 yards combined. Mizzou can’t get a stop, so I like A&M to cover and for this game to hit the over.

Texas A&M: 41 Missouri: 21 (Texas A&M -9.5; Over 59.5)
