A once-dormant rivalry has been revitalized because a once-great program has suffered severe mediocrity while the other program has slowly improved. Such is the case for Tennessee football and Kentucky as they get set to face each other.

However, despite being No. 18 in the College Football Playoff rankings, his team is starting to fall apart after two straight losses, one 31-17 to Mississippi State, to follow a 6-0 start.

On the other side, the Vols seem to have a higher level of morale than any 4-4 team out there. Josh Heupel’s program seems to have figured it out, and despite being on a two-game losing streak, a bye week to get healthy creates more than enough reason to believe in this team down the stretch.
