Butch Jones has not been shy about embracing all of the great Tennessee traditions. He immediately endeared himself to the Vol faithful by ending his introductory press conference by saying “I will give my all for Tennessee”.

The Vols will have several new traditions this year that Jones and his staff have started. Some of those new traditions include sprinting to the other side of the field at the end of each quarter, the Volympics and several new team slogans such as “Rise to the  Top” and “Team 117”.

The newest slogan is the “Brick by Brick” movement. Last week Butch Jones began encouraging fans to tweet photos of themselves with bricks and the words “Rise to the Top”

Jones has been described as a great motivator, someone who uses various techniques to get the absolute most out of not only his players, but his staff as well. In only four months on the job the new Vol head coach has already created an enthusiasm and energy around the program that had previously been missing.

Check out some of the great responses on Twitter to the “Brick by Brick” movement.
