Earlier this month we told you that Cordarrelle Patterson and Justin Hunter would be taking part in the NFL Player Association’s annual rookie premiere.

The event features the top rookies being unveiled in their uniforms for the first time, autograph signings and plenty of attention going there way.

Here’s a video of an interview that Pro Player Insiders conducted with Patterson, and what we learned from the interview.

First off Patterson apparently hates having his hair in his face, but really who among us doesn’t?

Secondly Patterson doesn’t worry about the “swag” of others, he only tries to maintain his “swag”. I feel you Cordarrelle, it’s hard to maintain the “swag” when you’re focused on the “swag” of others.

Patterson forgoes hashtags for prayers.

Whoever the young lady is that is interviewing Cordarrelle, has no clue how to pronounce Cordarrelle, that second syllable really seems to throw her off.

Patterson really really likes Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, really.

Apparently Patterson likes the “tight fit” clothes from H&M, because they’re “cheap”

Cordarrelle Patterson is a country music fan, Rascal Flatts to be exact.

Seriously, Rascal Flatts. You can’t make this up.

All in all Patterson appeared to enjoy himself at the Rookie Premiere, and not take himself too seriously.

We tip our hat to Patterson for that, enjoy the moment and soak it up. With OTA’s on the way for the Vikings, the real work begins.
