Unfortunately for Tennessee fans the answer is no, at least according to ESPN recruiting analyst Tom VanHaaren.

Tabor is a four-star defensive back, one that 247Sports rates as the fourth best cornerback in the nation and the 28th rated player overall.

The 6’1″ Tabor has been coveted by Vol fans for quite some time, and understandably so, he’s a fantastic cover corner that any team would love to have.

With this news today, however, it may be time for Vol fans to move on from Jalen Tabor. I wouldn’t take this as horrible news though, the Vols have added several key recruits to their defensive backfield, including Todd Kelly JR and Tabor’s high school teammate, D’Andre Payne.

Most recruiting analysts are predicting that Tabor will commit to Florida, some have also predicted Florida State.

Vanderbilt also made quite an impression on Tabor during his visit to Nashville in early April, something that didn’t sit well with Vol fans at the time, and probably still doesn’t.

There’s plenty of other fish in the sea for the Volunteers. Butch Jones has done just fine so far, while Tabor is no doubt a top recruit, he isn’t the end all, be all for the Vols.
