Vols Target Dillon Bates Set To Announce College Choice On July 3

Dillon Bates, one of the Vol’s top 2014 recruiting targets, made it known today that he will be announcing his college choice on July 3, at The Opening.

Bates had previously announced that he’d be making his decision at The Opening, but he hadn’t decided which day.
46 analysts, including myself, have made a 247Sports Crystal Ball prediction that predicts Bates will be committing to Tennessee on July 3.
Bates, who is yet another possible Vol legacy, is a four-star linebacker from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (Ponta Vedra). He stands 6’3″ and weighs 220 lbs.
247Sports composite rankings rates Bates as the 11th best player in the state of Florida and the seventh rated linebacker overall.
Bates has numerous offers, including: Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia Tech among many many others.
