On September 28, The Vols come back home to Neyland Stadium for a non-conference game to take on the South Alabama Jaguars after consecutive road games against projected top-10 opponents.  Tennessee will look to get a much needed victory after likely losing at both Oregon and Florida.

South Alabama is a very new program.  The football team played it’s first ever game in 2009, and in 2012 they transitioned into the FBS.

In 2012, the Jaguars finished 2-11 overall and 1-7 in the Sun Belt Conference. This year shouldn’t be much different for South Alabama, as they will likely finish towards the bottom of the Sun Belt Conference again.

This is a game the Vols should dominate from beginning to end by overpowering and outclassing the much lesser talented Jaguars. Coming off two losses on the road, the Vols should be like sharks smelling blood in the water.

Look for Tennessee to put up big numbers in route to a blowout victory to move to 3-2 on the season before hosting Georgia on October 5.
