Butch Jones and the Tennessee Volunteers added another recruit, on the heels of Jones’ first SEC Media Days appearance.

Offensive lineman Ray Raulerson committed to Tennessee on Thursday evening, becoming the Vol’s 21st commit to the 2014 class.

Raulerson is a 6’4″/279 lb tackle from Tampa, FL (Plant).

247Sports rates Raulerson as a three-star recruit. He’s also rated as the 147th overall player in the state of Florida and the 92nd overall offensive tackle.

Raulerson also had notable offers from Auburn, Boston College, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State and West Virginia among others.

All 13 recruiting analysts that made 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions for Raulerson correctly predicted Tennessee.

Raulerson, who unofficially visited Tennessee on June 20, was offered by the Vols on May 24.

Tennessee running backs coach Robert Gillespie has been Raulerson’s primary recruiter.

Raulerson’s commitment vaulted Gillespie up 16 spots to 33rd in 247Sports recruiter rankings.
