Things are going well in Knoxville right now — very well.

The Vols added yet another commit this afternoon, when wide receiver Dominique Booth committed to play for the University Of Tennessee.

Booth, Indianapolis, IN (Pike), is rated as a four-star receiver by 247Sports. The 6’1″/200 lb receiver is rated as the sixth best player in the state of Indiana and the 41st overall wide receiver (247Sports).

All 32 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions (including my own if I can pat myself on the back) correctly predicted that Booth would commit to Tennessee.

Booth’s commitment is also a sign that fellow four-star receiver, Josh Malone, is unlikely to end up at Tennessee.

Regardless of Malone’s status, Booth is a part of a strong 2014 receiving class that has been assembled by Butch Jones and company. That should give fans faith that Tennessee can regain their mainstream notoriety as “Wide Receiver U”.

In addition to Booth’s offer from Tennessee he also had notable offers from: Alabama, California, Florida State, Louisville, Michigan State, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech and West Virginia, among many others.

Booth’s commitment also puts the Vols at the top of all three major recruiting services’ (Rivals, Scout and 247Sports) team recruiting rankings.
